"DRAWING ON THE WALL"

The two wall drawings in this show were made directly and spontaneously on the wall without preliminary sketches. Produced between Sept.26 and Oct.7, "Pink Wall Drawing" took 26 hours to complete, "Portraits Wall Drawing" 37 hours. These represent the17th and 18th wall drawings created since 1993. "Mylar Drawing" led to the "Portrait"(2,4,6) series which led to the "Small Portrait"(1-4) series and ultimately to "Portraits Wall Drawing". "Sketchbook Drawings" is a collection of recent drawings. "Glyph" represents a new direction based on a decal series from 1999.
